Mount Rainier Reflections

A field painting created beside a beautiful tarn in Mount Rainier National Park. This painting is one of my favorites from the summer, as it encapsulates my experience of this incredible place and the memories of the hike. As I finished the painting at sunset the clouds moved back in, and I had to carry it back to my tent with my headlamp! It took all night to dry, and I was so relieved when I was able to pack it up early the next morning!
