Permit Painting Poster: Alpine Lakes Wilderness

A collection of paintings created on permits from hikes in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Each permit represents a specific memory, from waking up to a wildfire red-tinged sky to walking beside the deep blue of peaks reflected in clear water. I created this project in the hopes of increasing awareness of the inherent value of wild places like the Alpine Lakes and the importance of filling out the permits. 

The poster is 12x18 inches on thick 120lb matte paper. 

The permits are used by land agencies to track trail usage and visitation numbers that are critical to the process of managing our beautiful public lands. Whenever you visit the wilderness area, please always fill out a permit!

A portion of proceeds from each poster will be donated to public land agencies supporting the wilderness area.
