Shuksan Sunrise

Sunrise in alpine country is unlike anything else in the world, and there is a rare moment when the sun is about to crest a distant ridge. A hint of yellow remains in the sky while snow on surrounding peaks is highlighted brilliantly against the blues of ice and rock. This painting of the west face of Mount Shuksan is a tribute to that fleeting moment. 

Prints are available in two variations:

1) The scale of the original painting (12x30 inches) or this scale at half size (5x16in)

2) A cropped standard size (5x7 8x10 or 11x14 and 16x20) print of just the west face (the lower ridges are removed)
