Tree Snag

from $15.00

Part of my series entitled “The Spaces Between” exploring the stories told in the shapes created by the canopy of an old growth forest. This painting depicts the space left in the forest after a single tree died and remained standing in the forest as a snag. While I observed this section of forest I saw how even a dead tree became a source of life and support in the forest ecosystem; it was a home for birds and a favorite foraging location for woodpeckers.

Archival museum quality giclée print that replicates the colors of the original painting. Signed by hand. Flat rate five dollar shipping in the US.
